MSHA (Mine Safety & Health Administration) training

New to the services we offer is our MSHA Training. We are excited to be able to present not only an 8 Hour Annual Refresher, but also 24 Hour New Miner Training as required under 30 CFR Part 48 – Subpart B.

MSHA training requirements apply to all contractors that will be performing work on mine properties. Your company needs to be aware that other organizations might offer MSHA Annual and New Miner training, BUT you need to be careful as to what part they will be training under. 30 CFR Part 46 is listed as applying to surface mining. However, training under this part will only allow you access into mining operations of SAND AND GRAVEL PITS. If your company is going to be performing work up on “The Range”, or in any other surface mine that is a COAL, METAL OR NON-METAL operation, you will need to provide your workers with training under 30 CFR Part 48, Subpart B.
