Debra Hilmerson is the President/CEO of Hilmerson Safety Services, Inc. located in Savage, MN-USA. Hilmerson Safety Services, Inc. is a global safety, health and business consulting company specializing in construction safety. Hilmerson Safety Services, Inc's primary focus is to assist Business Owners and Contractors with developing a World Class Safety and Health Program through hazard recognition, program development, effective employee training, comprehensive risk assessments, auditing, recommended safety equipment product selection and procurement, and the utilization of proactive industry best practices. Debra's background includes over 21 years of safety and health experience. Her education includes receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Minnesota, she is a Certified Safety Executive-World Safety Organization, Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST)-Board of Certified Safety Professionals, possesses an Advanced Safety Certificate from the Minnesota Safety Council, she is a authorized OSHA 500 & 501 Instructor, authorized OSHA 10 Hour and 30 Hour Instructor, Authorized MSHA Instructor, Certified Scaffold Trainer through the Scaffold Industry Association, Hazard Recognition Plus™ System Certified Master Champion, Zero Injury Program (CII) Champion, and a highly requested trainer throughout the safety industry.

Debra's previous work history includes acting as Construction Safety Specialist for 3M Company Worldwide, the Safety and Health Director for M.A. Mortenson (Voted Top 100 Contractor's in US by ENR), the Director of Field Operations and Safety for a National Precast Company and worked in the construction trade installing precast concrete for 5 years. She also served as a Senior OCIP/CCIP (Owner Controlled Insurance Program/Contractor Controlled Insurance Program) Consultant on several of the larger construction projects located throughout the United States. Debra is a Board Member of the World Safety Organization, American Society of Safety Engineers, Association of General Contractors of Minnesota, National Safety Council and is a member of the Association of Women Contractors.

Hilmerson Safety Services, Inc. provides health, safety and business consulting services for manufacturing, construction-commercial, heavy highway and residential, health care, casinos, refining, mining, oil and gas organizations throughout the United States, Canada, Australia and Asia.
